Hi - I'm Lindsay - the sole owner/baker/operator of Sweet Stuff Cakes! All my products are made from SCRATCH (no pre-mixes) and baked with love!
I started Sweet Stuff in 2011. I have been decorating cakes for friends and family for over 13 years now, and was looking for a way to get my name and yummy cakes out to the public without having to worry about the costs of a commercial kitchen. Farmer’s Markets seemed to be the most logical answer!
In 2017, my little family moved into our first home, and I was able to convert the basement kitchenette into a fully functional commercial kitchen! This means that at home pickups are permitted, and I am now wholesaling products to a few small companies around the city!
I set up a booth at several different markets in the summer and sell all different products such as cupcakes (mini and large), cakes (special order only), homemade croissants (only on Saturdays at the Downtown market, but well worth the trip!), cookies, and squares (winter only). I even have a vegan cupcake option some days! I strive to keep my cupcakes and other products peanut free as well.
I have made many different kinds of cakes for different occasions, including birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, baby showers, wedding showers, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and more! I offer over 15 different flavors of cake, which you can have decorated in plain buttercream or fondant. Cake prices range from $30.00 upwards, depending on size and difficulty of decoration.
